Known for his quick-witted one-liners, comedy veteran and perpetual funny man Tim Vine has announced a headline tour, touring the UK in September and October 2018. It follows his London show set to take place on the 11 May 2018 at the Apollo Hammersmith.

Vine brought audience to tears of joy at the world famous Edinburgh Festival Fringe last year, where he has previously been awarded for the funniest joke at the comedy festival.
Sunset Milk Idiot sees Time Vine blend his quick fire jokes with props, song and audience participation, with the comedian delivering suitably frantic hilarity.

Find out what we made of his Edinburgh performances in our review.

Vine, also known for his turn in the BBC series Not Going Out which he left in 2012, will be bringing his unique comedy show to the road later this year. Fans can expect Vine to touch upon pixie football, ice cream and nibble feeders.

Come along, sit down, and laugh. The quantity won’t let up. This is comedy without a message. What an odd person. What a lot of nonsense. What else is he going to do? ‘Sunsets are in the sky, milk’s nice, and I’m an idiot.’

Tim Vine’s history with the Edinburgh Fringe goes back to the mid-90s where he was awarded the Perrier newcomer award in 1995. A spectacular publicity stunt in 2008 saw him erect a massive billboard oddly advertising his absence at that year’s festival.

Vine’s TV and radio career has seen him deliver his endless joke repertoire on various game and adventure shows. He’s currently hosting the second season of The Time Vine Chat Show on BBC Radio 4.

As well as his Fringe awards, Tim Vine broke the World Record for the most jokes told in an hour, reaching 499 in October 2004. The award has since been broken by fellow comedian Taylor Goodwin (reportedly inspired by Vine) in November 2014.
