Watch comedian Rich Hall take on Bob Dylan
Hall performs a skit from his forthcoming Hoedown show.
“I went to see Bob Dylan about three months ago,” comedian Rich Hall opens ahead of his aptly titled Bob Dylan Song. “I can honestly say I wanted everyone’s money back.”
The joke precedes Hall’s distinctively scathing, yet cleverly hilarious, take on Dylan’s live performance.
The skit forms part of the forthcoming Rich Hall’s Hoedown tour, which kicks off across the UK from Wednesday 10 October 2018.
Throughout the show, Rich promises to dissect the relationship between the Hall’s native United States and the United Kingdom, a place he has come to call home.
Hall, notable for his BBC Four documentaries such as Rich Hall’s Countrier Than You and Rich Hall’s Presidential Grudge Match, looks at Trump’s America but ends up celebrating Americana. The show brings together stand-up, improvised ballads, musicianship, and a “hilarious, foot-stomping, sh*t-kicking good time”.
