John Bishop announces 2020 warm up shows

Find out when the comic will be returning to the stage in 2020.

Award-winning comedian John Bishop has confirmed details of a run of warm up shows.

The new tour will be the follow up to the comedian’s previous Winging It show, which sold out over 150 dates across the UK and received rave reviews. The DVD of the show was recorded at the London Palladium and released in November 2018.

Breaking through in the early 2000s, John Bishop is one of the most popular stand up comedians in the UK, regularly selling out arenas across the country.

The Liverpool born comic has won numerous awards throughout his career, and in 2014 was given an honorary fellowship from the city’s John Moore’s University for his contribution to the arts, and for his extensive charity work.

A regular on television screens, John has also achieved huge success hosting shows and documentaries such as John Bishop’s Australia, John Bishop’s Britain, John Bishop’s Only joking, The John Bishop Show and John Bishop’s Ireland.  

The funnyman has won plaudits for his John Bishop: In Conversation With… series, in which the comedian interviews some of the world’s most famous people. Guests who have appeared on the programme include James Corden, Russell Brand, Katie Price, Professor Brian Cox, Gabby Logan and Jeremy Corbyn.

Known for his observational humour, John will be prepping for his upcoming eighth show with a series of warm up dates taking place in 2020.
