Jason Byrne announces brand new 2020 tour

Here's how fans can get tickets early to see the stand-up comic live.

Award-winning comedian Jason Byrne has announced details of his brand new tour, Audience Precipitation.

The new tour will see the stand-up bring his signature brand of comedy chaos to venues across the UK throughout September, October and November 2020.

Audience Precipitation will see Jason doing what he does best, connecting with the audience like no one else can – whether that be inviting them or dragging them, as has been known to happen – on to the stage and making a “holy show of them”.

How to get tickets early

Fans can get tickets to see Jason Byrne live 24 hours in our presale.

Open to all, the presale begins at 10:00 on Thursday 5 March 2020.

Described by The Times as “the outright king of live comedy”, Jason Byrne has been in the stand-up game for 24 years, completing numerous sell out tours across the UK and performing worldwide in cities such as New York, Boston, Hong Kong, Paris, and Sydney.

An Edinburgh Fringe favourite, the Dublin-born comic has been nominated for both the Perrier Best Newcomer Award and the Perrier Award.

We caught up with Jason at last year’s festival. Watch him discuss his love of performing live and why he enjoys getting the audience getting involved below:

Alongside his stand-up career, Byrne’s television credits include appearances on Live at The Apollo, Dave’s One Night Stand, The Channel 4 Comedy Gala and John Bishop’s Only Joking.

The comedian also hosted three series of The Jason Byrne Show on BBC Radio 2, where he won a prestigious Sony Radio Gold Award for best comedy.
