Watch the musical duo discuss what fans can expect from the shows.
1980s boyband sensation Bros became the unlikely heroes of Christmas 2018 when the BBC aired their documentary, After The Screaming Stops; a hilarious and moving no holds barred behind the scenes look at preparations for their 2017 reunion gigs, and exploration of how brothers Matt and Luke Goss’ relationship had deteriorated to such an alarming extent.
Two people the documentary particularly affected were the multi-award-winning comedy singing sisters Flo & Joan. Beginning to wonder if their relationship was destined to suffer a similar fate to that of the Goss brothers, they decided to playfully name their brand new show, Before The Screaming Starts.
In the interview above, Flo & Joan discuss the writing process for the new show, how different audiences react across the world and what fans coming to see them can expect.

Musical duo Flo & Joan first came to the widespread attention after appearing in a series of Nationwide adverts that it’s fair to say, polarised opinion across the nation.
Undeterred by the negative reaction and encouraged by the positive comments they received, the pair used the traction the adverts gave to boost their fledgeling comedy career, selling out shows across the UK, North America and Australia.
The duo launched their latest show, Before The Screaming Starts, at last summer’s Edinburgh Fringe, having to add a raft of extra dates to keep up with demand. Flo & Joan are now preparing to take the show across the UK throughout 2020, kicking off with a residency at London’s Soho Theatre.
