Comedian Harry Hill has announced his first tour in five years and it’s designed to delight and entertain children.

Called Harry Hill’s Kidz Show: How to Be Funny – for Kids!, the tour will kick off in Bristol on 20 October 2018 and travel around the country, wrapping up in Kingston on 24 November.

Hill’s brand new show will coincide with the October release of his latest book, Matt Millz Stands Up. The sequel to Matt Millz, it continues the adventures of Britain’s youngest comedian, 12-year-old Matt, who aspires to be a stand-up. Like its critically acclaimed predecessor which Hill published in October 2017, Matt Millz Stands Up is part comic caper, part handbook for budding comedians.

Similar to the books, you can expect Harry Hill’s Kidz Show: How to Be Funny – for Kids! to be hilarious and packed with family fun, plus Hill will offer practical tips for children who are drawn to comedy. Some kids may even get the chance to try their hand at delivering a joke on stage.

No one is more qualified than Hill to give them advice. Considered a national treasure, he’s created some of the most successful television series of the past two decades and amassed three BAFTAs, eight British Comedy Awards and a Golden Rose of Montreux for his efforts. Among these shows are Harry Hill’s Fruit CornerHarry Hill’s Fruit Fancies, Harry Hill’s TV Burp and the award-winning comedy show Harry Hill. In addition to being the host of ITV’s You’ve Been Framed! since 2004, Hill has also done programmes like Harry Hill’s Tea Time and the award-nominated Harry Hill’s Alien Fun Capsule.
