Stephen Schwartz’s Working heading to the West End

The latest musical by the Academy Award winning lyricist and composer behind Wicked and Godspell will arrive at London’s Southwark Playhouse next summer.

Based on Studs Terkel interviews with the American workforce, Working sees Schwartz work alongside Nina Faso, joined by contributors Lin-Manuel Miranda (known for Hamilton and In The Heights) and Grammy Award winner James Taylor.

Scheduled to open on 7 June 2017, following previews from 2 June, Working will be directed by Luke Sheppard, with Fabian Aloise handling the choreography.
