RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s Werq The World 2021 Tour will take to Cardiff and Brighton in June 2021, bringing together iconic queens from across the US, UK and Canadian series.
The all-new production will take to Cardiff’s Motorpoint Arena on Friday 18 June 2021, and Brighton Centre on Saturday 19 June 2021.
Presented by RuPaul’s Drag Race veteran judge and Strictly Come Dancing competitor Michelle Visage, the fourth outing of the tour will welcome season 12 winner Jaida Essence Hall alongside the likes of season 10’s fourth place competitor Asia O’Hara, season 10 muscle queen Kameron Michaels, season 11’s Plastique Tiara, modern drag icon Vanessa Vanjie and season 11 winner Yvie Oddly.
With its time-travelling theme, the show will also bring stars from across the US, UK and Canadian series to the stage, having recently made its UK debut crowning The Vivienne as winner.
The ever-expanding world of RuPaul has also just wrapped up its fifth outing of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars, but to avoid spoilers we won’t mention the winner here just yet.
The Cardiff and Brighton dates join the previously confirmed European run, offering two very special opportunities to catch the drag action live in the UK.
“RuPaul’s Drag Race is always a huge hit and we look forward to presenting what will be two outrageously entertaining shows,” says Director of Theatre Touring for Cuffe and Taylor, Ben Hatton.
Here are those new dates:
18 June 2021 – Motorpoint Arena, Cardiff
19 June 2021 – Brighton Centre, Brighton
Tickets for RuPaul’s Drag Race Werq The World 2021 Tour in Cardiff and Brighton will be available from Friday 7 August 2020 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
