Celebrate Wicked’s 10th anniversary with our no booking fee offer – plus Rachel Tucker returns to lead the cast
Wicked, the award-winning musical phenomenon, will celebrate a decade in the West End next week.
Already the eighth longest-running show in the history of London’s theatreland, Wicked has now been seen by 50 million people around the world and has won over 100 major awards. The official birthday is Tuesday 27 September, but we’re already celebrating the event with our no booking fee offer.
Based on the best-selling novel by author Gregory Maguire, Wicked ingeniously re-imagines L. Frank Baum’s world of The Wizard of Oz and tells the incredible, untold story of an unlikely friendship between two sorcery students. Their extraordinary adventures will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda the Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.
The 10th anniversary cast is being led by Tucker, who originally played the role of Elphaba from 2010 to 2012 – making her the longest-running West End Elphaba. Tucker’s triumphant return to the role in London comes following an acclaimed engagement on Broadway.
She will be joined by Suzie Mathers as Glinda, Oliver Savile as Fiyero, Anita Dobson as Madame Morrible and Mark Curry as The Wizard. Original cast members Martin Ball and Katie Rowley Jones return to the cast as Doctor Dillamond and Nessarose respectively.
