Starring Aimie Atkinson (Six the Musical) and Danny Mac (White Christmas, Hollyoaks), Pretty Woman: The Musical is now playing at London’s Piccadilly Theatre following its opening night on Valentine’s Day 2020.

Attended by the likes of musical theatre legend Sheridan Smith OBE, stage and screen actor John Barrowman, and veteran actor Danny Dyer – among many other famous famous – the event welcomed the West End transfer of the hit movie adaptation.

The story tells the tale of Edward Lewis, played by Mac, who forms a close friendship with Vivian Woods (Atkinson) following a chance encounter in Hollywood’s Red Light District.

The production features original music by international star Bryan Adams, with the revered Jerry Mitchell handling direction and choreography. The show also features the timeless song by Roy Orbison, after which both the film and musical are named.

Atkinson and Mac are joined by Rachael Wooding (We Will Rock You) in the role of Kit De Luca, Bob Harms (Come From Away) as Happy Man/Mr Thompson, Neil McDermott (Eastenders) as Philip Stuckey, and Mark Holden (The Bodyguard) as James Morse.
