Micky Flanagan tops list of Most Searched Comedy Gigs in 2013
East London boy done good, Mickey Flanagan, has topped the list of the most searched comedy gigs on Ticketmaster in 2013.
The top 10 largely features home-grown comedy acts and boasts established acts such as Lee Evans and Miranda Hart, as well as younger comedians Jack Whitehall and Russell Howard.
Following close behind Micky Flanagan in second spot is Lee Evans, and in third place is Mrs Browns Boys, which received international acclaim with sold out shows all over the world.
At number four is Miranda Hart whose ‘My, What I Call, Live Show’ kicks off in March next year, and in fifth place is Fresh Meat TV star Jack Whitehall.
Commenting on the list, Ticketmaster UK Managing Director, Simon Presswell said: “If 2013 is anything to go by then the UK live events industry is clearly alive and well, and this year produced some stellar events. With more than 4,000 events listed on Ticketmaster.co.uk this year, there are almost 80 events that a Brit can see every week.”
