Frozen’s Let It Go is a hit with karaoke singers

It’s official, Disney’s Frozen has infiltrated the minds of karaoke singers far and wide to become the most popular song to sing along to in 2014.

Two versions of the Let It Go track were recorded by Idina Menzel and Demi Lovato for the hit film, which became the highest-grossing animated film of all time – taking £644.5 million at the box office worldwide.

Menzel’s version also made it to number 11 in the UK Top 40 chart, and was covered by Lauren Platt on The X Factor.

It even topped Katy Perry’s Roar and Pharrell Williams’ Happy to be the most selected song for Lucky Voice Online Karaoke crooners. In fact, Let It Go accounted for 15 per cent of the 3.5 million songs sung by Lucky Voice punters last year.

Fear not, Bon Jovi’s Livin’ On A Prayer and Dolly Parton’s Jolene were a few of the classic tracks to hold their position in the Lucky Voice Top 10. Phew.

Frozen fans can now join vocal forces for a sing-along at The Dominion Theatre in London, with a screenings of the film being held between 18-28 February 2015.
