The pair had originally prepared to bring Firedance to stages across the country in March of this year. The tour will now kick off on Thursday 25 February 2021, and run through until 21 March 2021.

Original tickets remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Unfortunately the Chatham date has been cancelled.

Firedance promises live Latin musicians, a full dance ensemble, and seductive choreography. The pair will dance to iconic songs such as In The Air Tonight, Bad Romance and Bamboleo.

With extensive dance careers under the belts, both Hauer and Marquez became household names through the BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

Karen Hauer joined as a professional dancer in 2012, pairing up with Westlife member Nicky Byrne. She reached the final two years later with dance partner Mark Wright.

Born in Valencia, Venezuela, Hauer’s career has seen her work with Jennifer Lopez (among others), and star as a principal dancer in the hit show, Burn The Floor.

Gorka Marquez began dancing at the age of 12, joining Strictly Come Dancing in 2016. A year later he reached the final with dance partner Alexandra Burke.

Representing Spain in the World Latin Championships 2010, Marquez took the lead role in Burn The Floor in 2014 before joining the Strictly… family.
