All the shows arriving in the West End this month, plus the most exciting new tickets now on sale
The weather might not be warming up just yet, but the West End certainly is. There are some huge new musicals freshly arrived in London – we’d be surprised if you’ve missed the hype surrounding Paddington, and another bestselling novel is also getting the stage treatment. This January in the West End, you can see a new side to a beloved children’s author, meet the women at the dawn of rock ‘n’ roll, or enjoy a dose of nostalgia with a new chapter in a British TV classic. Plus, there are some unmissable offers on big tickets. Here’s everything new in London theatre this February.
Paddington The Musical

Playing now at the Savoy Theatre
There’s a small bear from Peru who’s new in London, and he’s made a home for himself at the Savoy Theatre. The much-loved story of Paddington is reimagined for the next generation in the acclaimed musical adaptation, and it isn’t one to miss. And with the show’s strong ties to London, there are plenty of themed activities in the city to take your visit to the next level.
The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry

Playing now at Theatre Royal Haymarket
Rachel Joyce’s bestselling novel comes to life at the Theatre Royal Haymarket. When Harold Fry sets out on foot from his home in Devon, intending to visit an old friend, he has no idea how far this journey will take him – or the impact it will have on those around him. With a beautiful folk-influenced score from Passenger and a central performance from Mark Addy, this is set to be a moving and affirming theatrical moment. The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry will play a limited season in London until 18 April, so make sure to grab your tickets now.
I’m Sorry, Prime Minister

Playing now at the Apollo Theatre
BAFTA Award-winning co-creator of Yes, Minister and Yes, Prime Minister Jonathan Lynn delivers the long-awaited final chapter in his celebrated satire. Griff Rhys Jones and Clive Francis star as blustering politician Jim Hacker and the cunning Sir Humphrey Applebee, as they face off against the ultimate modern threat: cancel culture. Witty and nostalgic, this is a political comedy for everybody.

William Nicholson’s smash-hit finally returns to London. Based on a true story, Shadowlands follows children’s author C. S. Lewis as his life is transformed by American poet Joy Davidson, and the unexpected love she brings into his world. Fresh off sell-out run at Chichester Festival Theatre, this revival starring Hugh Bonneville promises to bring a tear to your eye.
