Here are more details about this year’s Olivier Awards
Performers and broadcast details have been confirmed for this year’s Olivier Awards.
The highlight of the theatre awards circuit, The Oliviers, will take place on Sunday 9 April 2017. It’s now been confirmed that fans can catch all the action live through Magic Radio, hosted by Ruthie Henshall and Alice Arnold.
The ceremony will then be aired on ITV on Tuesday 11 April at 8PM, as well as being broadcast on Facebook for those outside of the UK.
This will provide opportunities to catch the Jason Manford hosted event, with added performances by Tony Award-winner Audra McDonald, Gary Barlow and Tim Firth, Amber Riley, Tim Minchin and the cast of School of Rock.
The evening will also host a performance of Jesus Christ Superstar, as well as Matthew Bourne’s The Red Shoes.
Nominations include nods to The Glass Menagerie, Dreamgirls, School of Rock and Buried Child, as well as a record breaking eleven nominations for Harry Potter And The Cursed Child.
