The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is set to return to London, taking to the West End’s Piccadilly Theatre from 29 November 2018.

The show returns with seven Olivier Awards under its belt, as well as five coveted Tony Awards. The Best Play brings Mark Haddon’s best-selling novel to life, adapted by Olivier Award winning playwright Simon Stephens and fellow award winner Marianna Elliott on directing duties.

The arrival of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time adds a third simultaneous play in the West End for Elliott, who is also behind the reimagined Company and the epic War Horse which returns to the capital in November.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time follows fifteen year old Christopher as he deals with the trials and tribulations of family and conflict, while living with autism.

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time Returns to London's West End

Christopher, fifteen years old, stands beside Mrs Shears’ dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain, exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.

The visually spectacular play arrives at London’s Piccadilly Theatre on 29 November 2018, and runs through until the 23 February 2019.

Tickets for The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time at London’s Piccadilly Theatre will be available from 9:30 on Friday 21 September 2018 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
