In pictures: On the set at Monty Python Live (mostly)
Last week we were lucky enough to be invited down to a film studio in West London for a sneak peek at the set of Monty Python’s forthcoming live shows.
During our visit, we got the chance to try out some of the props, were given a tour of the huge stage and were taken backstage to see how the production will come together.
Check out photos of the set below:
That’s one huge stage…
Just hanging about, as you do.
While the ensemble are put through their paces.
We have been sworn to secrecy!
The costume makers are very busy sticking…
And stitching…
And costume fitting… “Hello! Hello! A spanking!”
The hats!
That’s a lot of walkie-talkies…
And dead parrots.
Anyone for a crunchy frog?
With over 60 characters to play, there’s going to be a lot of costume changes.
The Pythons will play a run of dates at the O2 Arena, London, starting July 1 – full details and tickets are here.
