Watch Arinzé Kene discuss his acclaimed show Misty
It's transferring to the West End for six weeks only this September.
Arinzé Kene is looking forward to bringing his production, Misty, to the West End next week. Following a sold-out run at London’s Bush Theatre, it opens on 8 September 2018 for a six-week engagement at Trafalgar Studios.
Known for his appearances in Girl from the North Country, Lion King and EastEnders, Kene has been able to capture his experiences as a creative mind through Misty. He not only wrote the show, but he also delivers a powerful performance.
Blending theatre and song on a constantly shifting stage, Kene uses music as his main storytelling tool to explore themes of gentrification and the changing face of London.
Misty has been hailed by the Evening Standard as a “big popular hit” and by Time Out as “inventive, subversive and duly ignites the room”. It’s been hitting audiences in a both profound and playful way that stays with them long after they leave the theatre.
Tickets for Misty are available now through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
