Saracens are heading to London Stadium
The team will face Harlequins in the capital on Saturday 24 March 2018.
Saracens are heading to the iconic London Stadium, in the heart of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, to take on Harlequins in what promises to be one of the most exciting rugby games of 2018.
It marks one of the highlights in the calendar for both Saracens and Harlequins, bringing some of the biggest names in rugby to the stadium.
Saracens are currently major players in the English Premiership, the top level of Rugby Union in England, as well as the reigning champions of the European Rugby Champions Cup.
The club is once again venturing away from their Hendon home to take on Harlequins at London Stadium.
Harlequins will be taking a break from their home of Twickenham Stoop. Also playing in the English Premiership, they are previous winners of the European Challenge Cup and the Anglo-Welsh Cup.
In their latest clash which saw the Sarries take on Harlequins at Allianz Park, Saracens walked away with a win, beating their London rivals 25 – 20.
They’re looking for a repeat come March at this season’s Aviva Premiership Derby Day fixture, in front of 57 thousand fans.
“As a visionary and innovative club we are delighted to be teaming up with a stadium and team that matches our ambition to create a landmark showpiece event,” Saracens’ Oren Bowman says.
“London Stadium has become synonymous with delivering great entertainment and sporting spectacles and this opportunity is one that both parties are very excited about.”
The game will take place on Saturday 24 March 2018.
Saracens have now announced that they’ve already sold 25 thousand tickets, with many more expected to go as the festive period arrives.
