Katie Archibald has been confirmed for Six Day London
She'll be leading the new women's format at the cycling event.
Olympic Gold medallist Katie Archibald will once again be competing at Six Day London this October. The Omnium World Champion will take to the track sporting her rainbow jersey, and is the first rider confirmed for a world class field.
The women’s competition will also welcome a refreshed format, with more UCI points awarded and the inclusion of a Madison (a team event originating in the United States) for the very first time.
The event will take place from the 24 – 29 October 2017. Archibald will take part in the women’s events between the 27 – 29 October.
Olympic medallist Mark Cavendish has also been confirmed for Six Day London, having competed at last year’s event alongside Bradley Wiggins.
Six Day London will take place from the 24 – 29 October 2017 at Lee Valley Velopark on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, London. Each day mixes competitive cycling with a celebratory atmosphere, from live DJs to food, drink and entertainment.
Six Day London tickets are available now through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
