To celebrate the one-year countdown, organisers have also released a rallying poem.
Organisers have today confirmed that legendary DJ Carl Cox will close this year’s 2019 Isle of Man TT Races.
The DJ will bring his set to the VIP Hospitality Unit on the evening of Senior Race Day on Friday 7 June 2019.
Considered one of the most prominent DJs on the planet, Carl Cox spent 15 consecutive years as the resident DJ at Space, Ibiza with his final 15 weeks in the job selling out well in advance. Carl continues to tour across the globe and has performed at festivals such as Tomorrowland, Creamfields and Ultra.
A big supporter of the TT Races, the DJ has strong ties to the event through his Carl Cox Motorsport venture.
Organises have also confirmed that comedian Chris Ramsey will entertain crowds at this year’s races. The critically acclaimed comedian who hosts The Chris Ramsey Show on Comedy Central will bring his humour to the Official Hospitality Unit on Tuesday 4 June 2019.
The legendary Isle of Man TT returns to the island from Saturday 25 May to Friday 7 June 2019.
The event takes place at the Isle of Man’s stunning Mountain Course, a 37.73-mile track created from the island’s public roads.
A must-attend event for motorsport lovers, 2019 will see last year’s record-breaking duo Dean Harrison and Peter Hickman take to the course once again. In 2018 the pair pushed the lap record to over 134 mph, making the Isle of Man TT the fastest road race on the planet.
Riders confirmed to be competing this year include 18-time TT winner Michael Dunlop, John McGuiness, Ian Hutchinson, David “Davo” Johnson, Conor Cummins, James Hillier, Dean Harrison and Peter Hickman, with more to be confirmed soon.
“We grabbed a Superbike TT win last year, which was a good start and the goal this year will be to go after both Superbike and Senior TT wins,” Dunlop says.
As well as all the racing action, the Isle of Man TT will also host live entertainment, with music and comedy set to round off the experience.
