Topping the bill are Rita Ora, Jake Shears, Sigala and Alexandra Burke.
Elsewhere, The Gaydio Dance Arena will welcome TCTS, Ana Matronic, Jon Pleased Wimmin and Pete Tong along with some familiar faces including DJ Paulette, Jamie Bull, Kriss Herbert and Danny Howard.
Having played every Biggest Weekend stage over the years, Lucy Spraggan returns for the 10th time, while two of the original DJs from New York’s iconic Studio 54 – Nicky Siano and Jellybean Benitez – will recreate A Night at Studio 54 in the Gaydio Dance Arena.
Plus, across the weekend, The Sackville Stage will play host to Proms In The Park, Heather Peace Presents and new addition, Bongo’s Bingo.
The weekend will also host a unique style of bingo, silent discos, singalong cinema, and more.
“This year we want to scream and shout about the Circus of Acceptance, the theme for this year’s Manchester Pride Parade”, says CEO of Manchester Pride, Mark Fletcher, “so it made sense to bring a flavour of this to our wonderful Capital for all to see.”
“In the past the circus was a place where outcasts and those who felt ostracised by the rest of society, finally felt accepted. The Circus of Acceptance welcomes everyone, and celebrates the different people who make up our diverse LGBT+ community; celebrating individual quirks, skills, differences and fascinations.”
“There is no denying that London has an amazing and diverse LGBT+ community, many of whom will visit The Manchester Pride Festival and help us celebrate this August, so it’s great to be able to bring our campaign to London and give a taster of what we’ll be doing in Manchester to Promote the advancement of LGBT+ equality.”
