English Heritage’s Enchanted returns this winter
Six sites across the country will be filled with magic and light.
English Heritage has confirmed that their Enchanted evenings will return this winter.
From the 5-30 December 2019, sites in Essex, Northumberland, South Yorkshire, London, Kent and Worcestershire will see their grounds transformed into magical worlds.
Families will be able to discover an enchanting world of light and colour as they follow an illuminated garden trail, with new elements added for 2019.
Visitors will step through tunnels of twinkling lights where they’ll find hidden fairies, magical talking trees and interactive lighting.
There will be plenty of show-stopping moments along the way, perfect for taking memorable seasonal pictures.
Grown-ups can treat themselves to mulled wine and the younger ones feast on toasted marshmallows.
The events will also feature traditional fairground rides and a store selling original Christmas gifts.
A registered charity, English Heritage and looks after over 400 historic buildings, monuments and sites across England.
