Rihanna reveals baby bump during Super Bowl 2023 halftime performance

Riri is the first pregnant woman to perform at the prestigious, big-budget show


Rihanna took to the stage last night for her long-awaited and much-talked about Super Bowl halftime show – but her special guest took was a little different to usual. In the opening minutes of her performance, Riri removed her red Alaïa coat to reveal her baby bump, surprising fans the world over.

The superstar had her first child with rapper ASAP Rocky back in May 2022, and following her performance last night Rihanna’s representatives have confirmed the couple have another on their way.

Stood on a platform hanging from the ceiling of the State Farm Arena in Arizona, where the Kansas City Chiefs came back to beat Philadelphia Eagles 38-35, Rihanna sang a 12-song medley of some of her biggest hits. Opening on ‘B*tch Better Have My Money’, the Barbados-born singer then went into the likes of ‘Where Have You Been‘, ‘We Found Love‘, ‘Rude Boy‘ and ‘All Of The Lights’, before ending on a dazzling firework display of a performance of ‘Diamonds‘.

Rihanna released her last album, ANTI, in 2016, but in 2022 contributed two tracks towards the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack with ‘Born Again’ and ‘Lift Me Up’.
