Years & Years announce UK tour for spring 2016

Calling all Years & Years fans, the band have announced a UK tour for spring 2016.

It seems like ages since their winter tour went on sale and tickets totally sold out in minutes, so news of more live gigs is brilliant.

The London trio, whose momentum has been quickly gathering pace through 2015, have been packing out tents across the festival season and even sold out a North American tour.  S0 finally the guys have committed for more shows in UK, this time headlining arenas across the country (!). Despite the size of the venues, we’re expecting these tickets to fly when they go on sale this week.

Years & Years tour the UK in 2016:

28 Mar – Ironworks, Inverness
29 Mar – O2 Academy, Glasgow
01 Apr – Barclaycard Arena, Birmingham
02 Apr – Apollo, Manchester
04 Apr – BIC, Bournemouth
05 Apr – Pavillions, Plymouth
06 Apr – Oasis, Swindon
08 Apr – Wembley Arena, London

If you’ve heard of Years & Years, but haven’t heard their music, here’s what you need to know… Their debut album Communion topped the UK album chart and has sold 650,000 copies worldwide and seems to be permanently in the UK top 20. This record is the fastest selling debut album in 2015 from a UK signed band.  Their current single is called Eyes Shut and, a word of warning, it is a total heart breaker…
