It was a night for unforgettable performances as Madonna, Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Royal Blood and Sam Smith hit the 2015 BRIT Awards stage last night.

Assuming you haven’t been living under a huge, soundproof rock since the ceremony, you would’ve seen Madonna hitting the headlines for her untimely stage fall. Yowch.

After struggling to unfasten her cape during the finale performance, Madge took a tumble down a set of steps as one of her dancers tugged the Armani number away from her. Like the legend she is, of course, Madonna carried on and saw out the set in style.

Paloma Faith, Take That and George Ezra also performed at the annual awards ceremony, bringing with them, big pyro, extravagant stage props and actual rain. Amazing.
