Ahead of taking to TRNSMT on this July, The Wombats took part in the festival’s Glasgow quiz, testing their knowledge on all things Scottish.

The Wombats play on the main stage on Sunday 14 July, joining a line-up that boasts headliners Stormzy, Catfish & The Bottlemen and George Ezra.

The full line-up also welcomes performances by hometown hero Gerry Cinnamon, British stars Bastille and indie veterans Snow Patrol, among many others.

The Wombats take to the stage following last year’s release of their fourth studio album Beautiful People Will Ruin Your Life, having initially broken onto the indie scene with 2007’s A Guide to Love, Loss & Desperation, featuring hit singles Moving To New York and Let’s Dance To Joy Division.

On the Sunday they’ll be joined by The Kooks, The Amazons and Tom Grennan, as well as pop superstar Jess Glynne, as well as rising stars Whenyoung and Sea Girls, plus more.

TRNSMT Festival, a three day metropolitan festival, runs from 12 – 14 July 2019 on Glasgow Green in the Scottish city.

The festival is now in its third year, having welcomed Radiohead, Kasabian and Biffy Clyro as headliners in its inaugural year. Last year, Stereophonics, Liam Gallagher and Arctic Monkeys took headline duties for the three day festival, with Queen + Adam Lambert and The Killers also offering standalone show.
