The Stone Roses announce two huge UK shows for 2017 – plus how to get tickets!

After a massive summer for the Manchester natives with four sold-out shows in their hometown as well as New York’s Madison Square Garden, the band now returns to the UK with shows in London and Glasgow.

If you like English rock you should mark your calendars for 17 and 24 June 2017 as The Stone Roses will take over Wembley Stadium and Hampden Park. The band’s newest singles All For One and Beautiful Thing give us a taste of what’s in store. Tickets go on sale at 09:30 Friday 30 September.

How do I get tickets to see The Stone Roses in concert? Hints and tips for improving your chances of bagging tickets on the day!

Tickets go on sale at 09:30 Friday 30 September here Ticketmaster.co.uk. Please note, there’s a maximum of 8 tickets per person buying tickets.

Here’s what you can do, to help secure those tickets. Notepads at the ready! Check out these top tips to improve your chances of bagging the best Stone Roses tickets when they go on sale.

  1. Open your account and log in now

Get the details out of the way before tickets go on sale by logging in and checking your Ticketmaster account ahead of time. We recommend checking passwords, delivery address and billing information now, to reduce any stress when processing your order later on. Head to Ticketmaster.co.uk and log in to your account to get started.

  1. Don’t refresh your screen

Stick to one window when you’re being pushed through the virtual queue and always resist the urge to refresh. Hitting the refresh button means you’ll lose your place in the queue and, as frustrating as it can get, patience is the only way to win this game.

Ticketmaster is equipped with sophisticated systems that are designed to manage and process ticket purchases as quickly as possible. The queuing system that appears on your screen is actually doing something and will place you at the front of the line as soon as possible.

  1. There’s no presales presale

All tickets will be available in the general on sale Friday a 09:30.

  1. Check when tickets are available – even once they’re on sale

Keep up-to-date with news at Twitter.com/TicketmasterUK. If anything changes with The Stone Roses tickets – anything at all – our social followers will be the first to know about it.

We send real-time updates as the general sale happens, including any technical difficulties that might occur (there are a lot of The Stone Roses fans, remember) and alerts when new tickets become available. When we have popular tours come on sale, we try our very best behind the scenes to secure as many tickets for you as possible and here’s where you’ll know if we’ve been successful.

  1. Don’t oversleep on Friday

That would be disastrous.

We said it before, we’ll say it again; The Stone Roses tickets go on general sale 9:30 Friday 30 September 2016.
