The biggest UK tours in 2025: the ultimate guide

Here’s our ultimate guide to the biggest tours set to take place in 2025

2024 was a bonafide bumper year for UK concert tours: Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour single-handedly transformed British fortunes by injecting nearly £1 billion into the economy, Charli xcx brought Brat to Britain and beyond, Stevie Nicks bewitched our shores, AC/DC shocked their legions of head-banging fans with a UK comeback, and Bruce Springsteen showed no signs of slowing down, ever.

Appetite for the communion of live music is greater than ever, and thankfully, there are plenty of mammoth tours set to unfold in the new year to provide your fix. Here’s our ultimate guide to the biggest tours set to take place in 2025:

Billie Eilish

When and where? 7 – 23 July 2025; Glasgow OVO Hydro, London The O2, Manchester Co-op Live

Alt-pop anomaly Billie Eilish is set to go hard when she returns to the UK on tour with her 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft in tow. Naturally, demand was so high she’s playing a run of shows spread across three weeks, so there’s ample opportunity to see the seven-time GRAMMY Award winner.

Robbie Williams

When and where? 31 May – 14 June 2025; Edinburgh Murrayfield, Newcastle Town Moor, London Emirates Stadium, Manchester Co-op Live, Bath Royal Crescent

UK pop music’s great entertainer continues to endure as a top drawer draw. Typically earnest, honest, and cheeky (both off and on the stage), Robbie is set to take his classics on tour once the world has absorbed his story from a new perspective after the release of his left-field biopic, Better Man, which has garnered rave reviews. Just like Robbie’s performances have for the best part of 30 years then.

Stereophonics’ singer Kelly Jones might be diminutive in height, but his powerful, gravelly voice and his band’s stature on stage is anything but. The Welsh rockers return in 2025 with a stadium-sized tour that promises a stadium-sized setlist, playing hits from across their 30 year-plus career. With a new album set for release too, there may very well be a new earworm nestled in there for good measure.

Post-punk’s poetic poster boys Fontaines D.C. have long been mooted for the mainstream: with the release of their lauded 2024 album, Romance, the Dublin natives confirmed they’re bound for the big time. A truly electrifying live band – whose newly luminous aesthetic is equally as eye-popping – 2025 is the ideal opportunity to witness a generational band in-the-making.

Sam Fender

When and where? 6 – 15 June 2025; London Stadium, Newcastle St. James Park

When talking about truly meteoric rises in today’s music scene, you can’t look any further than Sam Fender. Newcastle’s newest hometown hero has gone from strength-to-strength with the releases of albums Hypersonic Missiles and Seventeen Going Under, the latter of which transformed Fender into an era-defining voice in British indie rock. Selling out his recent UK tour based on a 30-second snippet from recent single ‘People Watching’, Fender soon announced four massive stadium shows in 2025 – one at West Ham’s London Stadium and three in his native Newcastle, supported by The War On Drugs, whose main man Adam Granduciel produced his forthcoming album, People Watching

Hard rock heavyweights Guns N’ Roses head back to British shores again in 2025, with two enormous shows at London’s Wembley Stadium and Birmingham’s Villa Park for their ‘Because What You Want & What You Get Are Two Completely Different Things’ tour. Though the riotous rockers haven’t released new material for some time, they’re superb value for money – the band frequently refuse to play for any less than three hours. Besides, who can resist rock classics like ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’ and ‘Welcome To The Jungle’?

It’s certainly not ironic that Canadian singer-songwriter Alanis Morissette has roused UK fans for three decades now. Thankfully, she’ll be heading back to celebrate 30 years of her landmark album Jagged Little Pill in all its angst-indebted alt-rock glory. There’s a new album reportedly in the works too – Alanis fans rejoice.
