1. Alice Cooper, Oasis Leisure Centre, Swindon, Friday 30th
The second of two intimate dates before Alice heads out with Motley Crue on their last ever tour. Is there anyone better to see on Halloween weekend?
2. Bring Me The Horizon, Southampton Guildhall, Friday 30th
A tiny warm-up date just ahead of the most important rock arena tour in years. We’re betting this is one of the last times BMTH will play a venue this intimate!
3. Skindred, Tramshed, Cardiff, Friday 30th
A homecoming show of sorts for one of the finest live bands in the UK. Is Cardiff ready for the Newport Helicopter?
4. Knotslip, 02 Islington Academy,Friday 30th
While we’re eagerly anticipating the 18 legged monster’s return to these shores in 2016, why not check out the next best thing? Wearing the same red boiler suits and masks that Slipknot did on their debut album, you’ll easily convince yourself it’s 1999.
5. The Nightmare Before Halloween and Halloween Hootenanny, Wolverhampton Slade Rooms, Friday 30th and Saturday 31st
Following a successful launch last year, Legendary rocker Ginger Wildheart rolls into the Midlands with performances from his own Hey! Hello and Ginger Wildheart Band, as well as Heck, The Ga Ga’s, Eureka Machines and much more. The dress code is ‘Dress to Distress’ and a two-day pass is a bargain at just £35.
6. Deathcrusher Tour 2015, 02 Ritz, Manchester, Fri 30th
If you’re not into theatrics, and just like your metal really heavy, head to Manchester for a grindcore/death/prog metal triple bill of legendary groups. Carcass, Obituary and Voivod all on one line-up.
7. Nothing But Thieves, London Electric Ballroom, Friday 30th,
Much hyped five-piece from Essex tour their promising self-titled debut. Also catch them at Brighton Patterns on Saturday 31st and at Manchester Victoria Warehouse on Sunday 1st.
8. The Computers, Carlisle Brickyard, Friday 30th
If you crave a mix of Elvis Costello and The Hives wrapped up in the spirit of blues, soul and punk on Halloween, get your dancing shoes on and check out The Computers! You can also see them at Nottingham’s Bodega on Saturday 31st.
9. Wednesday 13, Highbury Garage, Friday 30th and Sat 31st Oct
Still going strong and playing sizeable venues, check out the one-time Murderdolls frontman perform a one-off, two-night Halloween spectacular in the capital.
