System of a Down prepare their mega Wembley setlist
Don’t be alarmed if you hear some serious vibrations from Northwest London this evening, it’ll be coming from the ground under the SSE Arena, Wembley.
System of a Down are taking charge of the iconic venue, with no support and a two-and-a-half-hour set to call their own. Oh boy.
If the hints on Setlist.fm are anything to go by, fans can expect over THIRTY songs from the certified rock legends.
As for hits, early carnage will come courtesy of Prison Song, Aerials and B.Y.O.B, before the likes of Chop Suey! and Lonely Day send bodies flying at the half-way point. By the time Toxicity and Sugar rock up at the end, there’s no telling what state Wembley will be left in.
But it’s the appearance of rarely-played tracks that have long-serving fans buzzing before the show. Marmalade, Chic ‘N’ Stu, Bubbles, CUBErt and Jet Pilot are all expected to pop up during the headline set.
There is no real way to prepare ourselves for this.
