Stop everything! Arcade Fire will perform in an exclusive Isle of Wight Festival show

The Isle of Wight Festival has confirmed Arcade Fire as the first headline act for 2017.

The music giants will headline at the festival on Saturday 10 June. The much coveted appearance will be the band’s only UK festival of the summer – and will be their first UK festival performance since 2014.

Due to popular demand, 2017 also sees the return of Day Tickets for the Isle of Wight Festival, giving customers more flexibility to enjoy some amazing music at such a stunning venue. Early bird tickets are already on sale now.

Arcade Fire released their latest album Reflektor in October 2013 to critical acclaim, including a string of nominations for prestigious awards and a nod from the Academy Awards for their work on the score of the Spike Jonze film Her.

After debuting at No.1 in both the UK and US, they went on to release their first film The Reflektor Tapes, combining concert footage and personal moments during the making of the album.

Known for their outlandish live shows and high energy tracks, the Canadian band went on to sell out venues across the globe. As fans eagerly await the band’s highly anticipated fifth album, front man Win Butler recently recorded the crowd at a US show to be used as part of the LP.

Their performance at Isle of Wight Festival next year be a standout calendar moment for fans of the band
