Britpop legends Sleeper have announced more headline UK shows following a sold out run earlier this year. The band will be taking to Glasgow, Birmingham and Manchester in November 2018, celebrating their forthcoming new album.

The band, fronted by Louise Wener and completed by Jon Stewart, Andy Maclure and Kieron Pepper (previously of The Prodigy), last released their Pleased To Meet You album in 1997. It followed their debut Smart and sophomore album The It Girl, all of which reached the UK Top 10.

Sleeper’s songs also featured in the iconic 90s film Trainspotting.

They returned to the live circuit late last year following twenty years in hibernation. In their time they celebrated eight Top 40 singles across the three albums, with over one million sales.

Their faces appeared on covers of various high profile music magazines, as well as guests on the likes of TFI Friday, Jools Holland and Top Of The Pops. Louise Wener presented an episode of the latter.

Having played main stages at Reading Festival, Glastonbury, V Festival and more, as well as selling out headline tours across the UK, their return saw them sell out London’s Shepherd’s Bush Empire.

They are now preparing for their new album release, as well as three headline shows in November.
