Here’s who’s playing Reading and Leeds Festivals

Find out more as Lewis Capaldi and 10 more artists join the line-up.

Reading and Leeds Festival have added ten more artists to 2020’s event.

The new artists join the previously announced headliners Liam Gallagher, Rage Against the Machine and Stormzy on the line-up, with the festivals set to take place from 28 – 30 August 2020 at Richfield Avenue and Bramham Park respectively.

Scottish sensation Lewis Capaldi is set to perform at Reading and Leeds for the second time this summer.

Lewis will be performing tracks from his record-breaking debut album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent, which features the UK and US chart-topping Someone You Loved, and spent eight weeks at the top of the Official UK Albums Chart.

Also confirmed to perform in the latest line-up announcement are East London rapper Ms Banks, London singer-songwriter and rapper MoStack, indie heroes The Subways, Spanish indie quarter Belako, Canadian rockers Cleopatrick, and Geordie pop maker L Devine.

Adding to their already stacked electronic offering, the festivals have also confirmed that JAUZ, 100 Gecs, Koven, and Sofi Tukker are all set to perform.

Stormzy is set to take on headline duties on at Reading on Friday night and at Leeds on Saturday night.

From his humble roots rapping in South London to headlining arenas across the globe, the rapper has celebrated a huge list of achievements in the past few years.

His latest album Heavy Is The Head dropped in December 2019, arriving to rave reviews and topping the Official UK Albums Chart on release.

Liam Gallagher headlines Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday.

He first rose to fame in the internationally acclaimed Oasis and subsequently fronting Beady Eye, before launching his solo career with his As You Were debut in 2017. His sophomore solo album, Why Me? Why Not. hit the No.1 spot on the UK chart upon release in 2019.

Liam Gallagher’s Reading and Leeds Festival appearance will mark his third, having previously appeared solo on the main stage in 2017 ahead of headliners Muse. He also topped the bill as part of Oasis in 2000 on a line-up that also saw Pulp and Stereophonic take the top slots.

Following their return from hiatus, Rage Against the Machine close Reading on Sunday and headline Leeds’ first day on the Friday.

The band first broke through in 1992 with their fiercely bold and ambitious self-titled debut album.

They’ve subsequently released three more studio albums, with their latest Renegades dropping in 2000.

Known for tracks such as Bullet In The Head, Bulls On Parade, Guerilla Radio, and the UK chart-topping Killing In The Name, the band have a strong history with Reading and Leeds, having performed at the festival four times in the past.

The band last performed at the festival in 2008, headlining to wide acclaim.

The festival will also welcome sets from Manchester indie stalwarts Courteeners, Scottish troubadour Gerry Cinnamon and US rap collective Migos.

The line-up is further bolstered by appearances from the likes of Two Door Cinema Club, D-Clock Europe, Run The Jewels, All Time Low, Mabel, Slowthai, Sam Fender and more.
