Presales Explained!

Have you ever been counting down the days to your favourite show going on sale, only to find that some people have already got tickets? It may be that they’ve had access to a presale and you can too, as long as you know where to find it!

Ticket Presales Defined
A presale is simply a period of time when an allocation of tickets are available for purchase to a specific group of fans, usually as a reward for their membership or customer loyalty.
Either before or during the presale timeframe, these select fans are given a code which allows them to search for tickets to buy before they go on sale to the general public. Fans aren’t guaranteed a ticket during the presale, but they’re given the opportunity to browse ahead of other fans that don’t have the code. Presales are allocated by promoters and event organisers and are only an allocation of the total number of tickets available, and in most cases there are always tickets available for the general sale which occurs a day or so after the presale.
