Playlist: Nora En Pure picks her set favourites
The Swiss/South African DJ sheds light on her track selections ahead of her London show.
Nora En Pure is becoming an absolute titan of the deep house and indie dance scene, receiving the IDMA Award for Best Female Artist (House) in 2019 and playing some career defining shows at the likes of Coachella and Burning Man.
Nora En Pure’s Purified event series has been yet another massive success, having already hosted her own phenomenal parties in New York, San Francisco, Miami, Montreal and Prague. This month Nora adds London to that list when she takes over Ministry Of Sound, with a line-up stacked by Kidnap, Dosem, Illyus & Barrientos as well as Nora herself.

“Probably my favourite NEP tracks from the last year. It combines melancholic sweetness in the break with a powerful epic feeling in the drop.”
Marius Drescher – Panem
“This marked the first release on my Purified label and I still love the whole EP. Marius’ tracks always hold a great tension and it’s amazing to play with this in the clubs and tease the crowds. The whole EP regularly finds its way into my sets and always pleases the crowd.”

“My latest track that came out as part of an Enormous Tunes compilation. It’s inspired by the Fibonacci sequence – the notes follow the same principle making it definitely a little nerdy sounding. Very happy to see though that it translates as a track and people always love to hear it in my sets.”
