Having already played headline sets in Ibiza, Marbella, Mallorca, and the Monaco GP in the first few weeks of the summer, KISS DJ Justin Wilkes is set for his return to the indigo at The O2 for KISSTORY, the club night on Saturday 8 July.

With an enormous vinyl collection, Justin is known as the ‘Encyclopedia of Old School’, and here he shares his top tracks to keep the party pumping KISSTORY style.

Snoop Dog – Drop It Like It’s Hot (feat. Pharrell Williams)
Tracks that have simple dance moves are always a winner, and as we’re not really down with the Macarena, Drop It Like It’s Hot is a subtle way of getting the crowd bouncing.

Nightcrawlers – Push The Feeling On
This tune hasn’t been out of my record box since I bought it on import in 1992. The quality bassline and chopped up vocals are instantly recognisable, and younger clubbers know the horn riff from Pitbull’s 2009 hit Hotel Room Service.

Monster Boy – I’m Sorry
This is such a raw and simple tune, but everybody knows the words, and it’s pretty cool when 2000 people at indigo at The O2 are singing this track at the top of their voices.

Blackstreet – No Diggity (feat. Dr Dre & Queen Pen)
If you’re playing towards the end of the night, there’s a good chance other DJs have played a lot of the biggest KISSTORY tunes. This is the perfect track to reset the night and build it back up again. Smooth vocals, quality Dre production, an absolute classic.

DJ Marky & XRS – LK (feat. Stamina MC)
When you need to pick up the pace and re-invigorate the crowd, there’s nothing better than upping the BPM with some drum ‘n’ bass. The rapid percussion in the intro, and the familiar vocal in LK is the perfect launch pad for a sweep of D’n’B.
