Award-winning artist, composer, and producer Ólafur Arnalds has confirmed details of his re:act world tour.

Taking in shows at iconic venues in cities such as New York, Berlin, Los Angeles, Paris, Moscow, and more, the world tour will kick off in the UK on Friday 25 September 2020 with the musician set to headline London’s Eventim Apollo.

The newly announced shows mark the end of a three-year touring cycle for Arnald which commenced in 2018 following the release of his latest studio album re:member.

The re:act tour is set to feature his most personal and raw music to date, acting as a juxtaposition to the exuberance of his 2018 LP, and the shows promise to harbour an environment where both the artist and the audience can share their vulnerability through music.

The forthcoming new tour is also set to feature the musician’s signature string quartet, a live percussionist and his arsenal of pianos and synthesizers, including his innovative self-playing Stratus pianos.

Arnalds’ 2018 album re:member was met with critical acclaim, with the likes of Rolling Stone and The Line of Best Fit praising the release.

His tour in support of the album was also hugely well received, captivating hundreds of thousands of fans and selling out prestigious venues such as the Sydney Opera House, Hamburg’s Elbphilharmonie, and London’s Royal Albert Hall.
