No Jumper takes over XOYO, London next month
The popular hip hop podcast comes to the UK capital in July.
The hugely popular hip hop podcast No Jumper will take over East London’s XOYO for three nights this summer.
Taking place across the 8, 9 and 10 of July 2019, AJ Tracey, BEXEY and M Huncho will headline the special gigs.
One of the genre’s hottest new talents, AJ Tracey released his debut self-titled album earlier this year, with the release receiving rave reviews. The record contains the single Ladbroke Grove which is currently climbing up the charts.
London born BEXEY has been making huge waves in the underground hip hop scene in recent years. A frequent collaborator and good friend of the late Lil Peep, the rapper’s music has been streamed over 100 millions times, and BEXEY counts BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac and Daniel P Carter as fans.
Elusive London rapper M Huncho released his debut album on Island Records in April 2019. The musician, who wears a balaclava to protect his identity has made a huge mark on the scene as a pioneer of the trapwave genre, and recently completed a sold out tour of the UK.
No Jumper was founded in 2011 and is the brainchild of Adam John Grandmaison, known online as Adam22. The platform started out as a blog to promote underground hip hop, transitioning into a video/podcast series in 2015.
It has grown exponentially in recent years, and with over 2.8 million subscribers on YouTube alone, is considered one of the most respected taste-making platforms for the genre.
The podcast has helped promote and interviewed artists such as Lil Xan and Lil Pump.
Adam22 launched the BMX inspired No Jumper clothing line and opened the clothing store ONSOMESHIT on the prestigious Melrose Avenue in Los Angeles in 2017. The tastemaker uses the store as his base of operations, selling products in the front and recording the No Jumper podcast in the back.
At the upcoming XOYO shows, there will be a pop-up store selling the items from the No Jumper clothing line.
