Award winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist Nile Rodgers will be bringing CHIC back to the road in December 2018, kicking off their latest UK dates in Glasgow, and running through to a huge show at London’s O2.
The announcement comes as the musical legends prepare to release their first new album in 25 years, It’s About Time, on 21 September 2018.
The suitably titled full-length record follows 2015’s release of the outfit’s first new material in years, I’ll Be There.
Fans can access the presale for these Nile Rodgers & CHIC dates by pre-ordering It’s About Time before 16:00 on Wednesday 5 September 2018.
Those pre-ordering the album will receive a unique code, granting early access to tickets from 9:00 on Thursday 6 September.
New York based Grammy Award winner Nile Rodgers has celebrated success both as an artist and producer, working across a range of genres. His work has seen him inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and the Songwriter’s Hall Of Fame, having produced work by the likes of Diana Ross, David Bowie, and Madonna. He has also collaborated with Daft Punk, Avicci and Sigala in recent years.
CHIC rose to fame in the 1970s, led by Nile Rodgers and the since departed Bernard Edwards.
