Metronomy announce November 2019 UK tour dates
Pre-order their new album for presale access.
Following their return to music earlier this year, Metronomy have now confirmed details of a brand new headline tour, taking place across the UK throughout November 2019.
The newly announced run of shows kicks off in Southampton on 6 November 2019, and will then see the band head to London, Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow, Bristol, Nottingham and Birmingham.
The news coincides with the announcement that Metronomy will release their brand new album Metronomy Forever on 13 September 2019.
The band have just dropped the latest single from the upcoming album. Watch the official video for the new track Salted Caramel Ice Cream below:
The follow up to 2016’s highly regarded Summer 08, the album will feature 17 brand new tracks and promises to capture the band at their best, mixing their funk, club and pop inspirations to create the unique sound that they’ve become synonymous with.
Metronomy’s new music follows a short break, in which Mount teamed up with Swedish electro-pop veteran Robyn to write and produce on her acclaimed 2018 album Honey.
The band – completed by Oscar Cash, Anna Prior, Olugbenga Adelekan and Michael Lovett – first released their debut album Pip Paine (Pay the £5000 You Owe) in 2006, going on to celebrate critical acclaim with 2008’s Nights Out.
They have since released The English Riviera in 2011, the UK Top 10 record Love Letters in 2014, and their most recent full-length Summer 08 in 2016.
Their extensive catalogue includes fan favourites The Look, The Bay and Reservoir.
The band recently performed at London’s Studio 9294, offering fans a rare opportunity to preview their new material in an intimate setting.
Their first full UK tour since 2017, Metronomy will hit the road this November, in support of new album Metronomy Forever.
