Lytham Festival announces 2019 headliners
The festival is celebrating its tenth anniversary with a huge line-up.
The organisers of Lytham Festival have confirmed four out of five of their headliners for 2019.
Celebrating their tenth anniversary, the famous festival returns to the Main Proms Arena on Lytham Green from Wednesday 10 to Sunday 14 July 2019.
Headlining the festival will be Rod Stewart, Kylie Minogue, The Human League, and Hollywood Proms with Sheridan Smith and Michael Ball, with one more name to be confirmed.
Known for the hits such as Don’t You Want Me, Love Action (I Believe In Love) and Tell Me When, The Human League will be bringing the party on Wednesday night.
Pop superstar Kylie will be headlining the main stage on Friday. With a back catalogue of hits such as Spinning Around, Can’t Get You Out Of My Head and I Should Be So Lucky, it’s sure to be a fantastic show. Sophie Ellie Bextor and Radio 2 DJ Ana Matronic will open for the megastar.
Known for No.1 singles such as Baby Jane, I Don’t Want To Talk About It and Da Ya Think I’m Sexy? Legendary rocker Rod Stewart will close the main stage on Saturday night.
Rounding off the festival on Sunday night will be a dazzling Hollywood Proms finale featuring the much loved Sheridan Smith and Michael Ball.
The Thursday night headliner is due to be announced this side of Christmas.
Lytham Festival will be celebrating its tenth anniversary in 2019. Speaking on this milestone, Festival Director Peter Taylor said:
“Every year is important but our 10th anniversary is such a significant milestone and we want to see everyone partying with us, we feel the line-up for 2019 is a celebration of all that we have done with Lytham Festival during the past 10 years which is to appeal to as wide an audience as possible.”
