The Vaccines have been confirmed as the headliners for this year’s Live At Leeds, part of Leeds International Festival 18, taking place on Saturday 5 May 2018.

They lead today’s announcement which also features the likes of IDLES, Superorganism, Nadine Shah, Rae Morris, Yak, Bad Sounds, Cabbage, The Xcerts, Cosmo Pyke, The Night Cafe, King Nun, Sea Girls and loads more.

The latest additions join the previously confirmed Peace, Circa Waves, The Horrors, The Magic Gang, Pale Waves, Ash, Blaenavon, British Sea Power, Pulled Apart By Horses, Ten Tonnes and over 100 more.

2018 marks their biggest line-up to date, including the brand new Leeds Festival stage which The Vaccines will head up. They’ll be bringing their hits If You Wanna, Teenage Icon, Handsome and more to the crowds, including cuts from their new album Combat Sports.

Bristol punks IDLES arrive at Live At Leeds following a spectacular 2017 that saw them release their acclaimed debut album Brutalism. They’ll be joined by the hotly tipped Superorganism, who dropped their full-length debut last week.

Politically charged Scottish songwriter Nadine Shah will be bringing cuts from her Holiday Destination debut to the one-day festival, as will Rae Morris following the release of her stunning sophomore album Someone Out There.

“I first played Live at Leeds in 2012 so I’m super happy to be returning again with new music,” Rae says. “So many of my first gigging experiences happened around Leeds with it being one of the closest cities to Blackpool where I grew up. It’s a special place and audiences are always amazingly enthusiastic which I love.”
