Kim Petras announces February 2020 UK tour

The shows will be the pop star's biggest UK headline dates to date.

Kim Petras will come to the UK on tour early next year.

The newly announced run of dates kicks off in Glasgow on 5 February 2019 before heading to Birmingham, Manchester and London.

This past summer Petras released her debut album Clarity to widespread critical acclaim, with NME, Pitchfork, The New York Times and The Guardian all giving the release glowing praise.

Singles released from the album include Sweet Spot, All I Do Is Cry, Icy and Do Me.

Earlier this month the pop star released her second LP, the Halloween themed Turn Off The Light. The record contains all eight tracks from her 2018 EP Turn Off the Light, Vol. 1 alongside nine brand new tracks.

Citing artists such as Lady Gaga and Kylie as her biggest influences, German-born Petras first broke through with her debut single I Don’t Want It At All in 2017, after moving to Los Angeles to pursue music as a career.

Since her debut, she has released a slew of tracks such as Heart To Break, Faded and Fear Of Falling, that have all been streamed tens of millions of times. During that time, she’s also collaborated with artists such as ALMA, Sophie, Cheat Codes and Charli XCX.

An artist whose career is on a sharp rise, Kim Petras has been an increasing visitor to the UK over the past year.

In August she headlined London’s Heaven, alongside appearances at the Reading and Leeds Festivals and Manchester Pride. Earlier this year she supported Rita Ora across Europe on her huge arena tour.

Kim Petras will return to the UK early next year for her biggest headline dates on these shores to date.

11 February 2020 – O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, London
