Keston Cobblers Club tell us their must-see gigs of 2015

Folk-pop outfit, Keston Cobblers Club, are preparing to hit the road later this year, with a mammoth headline tour that includes a date at London’s Scala on 28 October.

When the British five-piece aren’t touring though, Tuba player, Bethan, tells us which bands they can’t wait to see live in 2015.

Larkin Poe
“I love these ladies! I’d quite like to be the third sister if I’m honest. Hugely talented, sassy, funky roots-rock music. I’m just wondering why on earth I’ve never managed to catch them live before…”

Larkin Poe - Don't (Official Video)

Eddi Reader
“Eddi Reader is such a joy to see live! Not only because I love her songs, but from a fellow performers point of view, it’s like watching a master-class in how to woo your audience! What a wonderfully entertaining lady. She also happens to be playing in one of my all-time favourite London venues – Union Chapel, and its pretty much impossible not to have some kind of musical OOBE in that place.”

Eddi Reader - All To Please Macushla (Live at Celtic Connections 2015)

The Slow Show
“I’m really enjoying these guys album, White Water, at the moment and I’d love to catch them live while they’re still playing in some of my favourite smaller venues (big up Brudenell Social). Singer Rob’s voice is really stand-out for me and I love their use of brass as well (obviously).”

The Slow Show - Bloodline (Official Music Video)

AC/DC
“Because it’s AC/DC! Need we say more?”

AC/DC - Highway to Hell (Live At River Plate, December 2009)
