Critically acclaimed musician and songwriter Jamie Cullum has confirmed details of a brand new headline tour.
The newly announced tour kicks off in York on 11 March 2020, before heading to Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham, London, Gateshead, Liverpool, Cardiff, Manchester and Portsmouth.
The run of dates will be in support of his forthcoming eighth studio album Taller.
Earlier this month, Jamie premiered his latest single Drink on Zoe Ball’s BBC Radio 2 show.
“It’s about dealing with things that are troubling and confusing, but how in taking them on, there is a freedom inherent in that, and suddenly they aren’t so black and white, but nuanced” comments the musician on Drink, “It turns out the grey is where the truth lies.”

Drink is the latest track to be taken from the musician’s upcoming album Taller. Due for release on 7 June 2019 via Island Records, the new album will be Jamie’s first release in five years and was written with and recorded at the home of his longtime friend and collaborator Troy Miller (Emeli Sandé, Mark Ronson, Laura Mvula).
Alongside Drink, Jamie has released one other single from the album so far, the title track Taller. The honesty laden track sees the songwriter own the fact that his significant other is taller than him, turning a perceived weakness into a superpower.
Breaking through in 1999 with his debut album Heard It All Before, Jamie Cullum has sold over 10 million albums during a career spanning over two decades.
Some of his most well-known tracks include Everlasting Love, Frontin’, Don’t Stop The Music and I’m All Over It.
Alongside his performing career, Jamie also presents the much-loved weekly The Jazz Show on BBC Radio 2, showcasing his favourite music from the genre and interviewing musicians from all across the globe.
Jamie Cullum will be hitting the road in March 2020, performing songs from his upcoming album Taller alongside some of his biggest hits.
