Due for release on 25 October 2019 via Atlantic Records, Once Upon A Mind is James Blunt’s sixth studio album.
After experimenting with a more electronica-based sound on his 2017 release The Afterlove, the new album promises to see the musician return to what he does best, writing pop classics filled with emotion.
Yesterday the songwriter released the debut single from the album. Take a listen to the uplifting Cold below:
James Blunt first broke through with his wildly successful debut album Back to Bedlam in 2004.
Spurred on by the huge hit singles You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover, the LP topped the Official UK Albums Chart and has since gone on to become the 18th best-selling album in UK chart history.
The album launched Blunt into global superstardom, earning the musician five Grammy Award nominations and two Brit Award wins.
James followed his debut album with the LPs All the Lost Souls, Some Kind of Trouble, Moon Landings and The Afterlove.
Some of his most well-known tracks include 1973, Stay The Night, Wisemen and Carry You Home.
Away from music, the musician is well-known for his highly amusing interactions with fans on Twitter.
