Yesterday, on the hottest day of the year so far Jameela Jamil and her troops gathered to host the launch of Why Not People? – a brand new music and events members club for disabled people – at the beautiful art deco Troxy theatre.
The TV presenter set up the pioneering charity to remove the notion of limits and discrimination that has been set on the disabled, a subject very close to her heart after living with disability as a teen. Through this club, Jameela aims to cater to people from all walks of life.
Dionne Bromfield and Sophie Morgan joined Jameela on the night to help celebrate the great cause.
After posing for the cameras on the red carpet at the East London venue, the stars headed inside to watch the hilarious Romesh Ranganathan, X Factor finalists Flawless and the current UK music chart No.1, Tinie Tempah, to headline the night.!
Jameela promises to provide accessibility to gigs, clubs and other events with this club allowing everyone to have fun together, the way it should have been all along.
