Jack White has announced more UK headline shows
He'll be coming to Hull and Liverpool in October 2018.
Jack White has announced two more UK shows, taking to Hull and Liverpool to celebrate the release of his new solo album, Boarding House Reach.
Having teased the album towards the end of 2017, he kicked off this year by unveiling single Connected By Love and b-side Respect Commander. The album then dropped in March 2018.
Boarding House Reach is available through Third Man Records and XL Recordings. It sees the former White Stripes vocalist return to his musical roots, reportedly locking himself away from outside distractions and using the same type of equipment he did as a fifteen year old.
Following his time with White Stripes, The Raconteurs, and The Dead Weather, Jack White released his last previous solo album Lazaretto in 2014, having dropped Blunderbuss two years prior.
Across the native Detroit musician’s various projects, Boarding House Reach marks his fourteenth album release including iconic records such as White Stripes’ Elephant, The Raconteurs’ Broken Boy Soldiers and the Dead Weather’s Horehounds.
The newly announced dates follow two shows at London’s Eventim Apollo Hammersmith on the 27 and 28 June 2018.
The new dates are:
18 October 2018 – Venue, Hull
20 October 2018 – Liverpool SPACE by Echo Arena, Liverpool
Tickets will be available from 10:00 on Friday 25 May 2018, priced between £39 and £49 plus fees.
Please note: This is a PHONE-FREE show. No photos, video or audio recording devices allowed. Upon arrival at the venue, all phones and other photo or video-capturing gizmos will be secured in a Yondr pouch that will be unlocked at the end of the show. You keep your pouch-secured phone on you during the show and, if needed, can unlock your phone at any time in a designated Yondr Phone Zone located in the lobby or concourse.
Tickets for Jack White’s new UK dates will be available from 10:00 on Friday 25 May 2018 through Ticketmaster.co.uk.
