Icons Festival comes to Walton-on-Thames this July
Some of the best tribute bands come together for the first time.
Icons Festival will celebrate a line-up of true music icons for one-day-only this summer.
The event sees six of the UK’s best tribute bands take to the stage at Apps Court Farm, Walton-on-Thames on Saturday 27 July 2019.
Icons Festival will be hosted by broadcasting legend Tony Blackburn, who will be introducing the bands to the stage and spinning tunes between sets.
The Illegal Eagles will be performing songs by The Eagles. The iconic Los Angeles band are known for tracks such as Best Of My Love, One of These Nights and Hotel California.
Live/Wire will deliver the songs by AC/DC. One of the best-selling rock bands of all time, AC/DC are known for tracks such as Thunderstruck, You Shook Me All Night Long and Highway To Hell.
Michael Starring Ben, performing the work of Michael Jackson, join the bill as part of an extensive tour throughout 2019. The late Michael Jackson was a pop music icon, selling over 300 million albums worldwide. Some of Jackson’s biggest hits include Billie Jean, Thriller and Beat It.
Killer Queen perform the songs of Queen. Fronted by Freddie Mercury, Queen are one of Britain’s greatest music exports and are known for hits such as Don’t Stop Me Now, We Will Rock You and Bohemian Rhapsody.
Limehouse Lizzy will play the songs by Thin Lizzy. Breaking through in the late ’60s, legendary Irish hard rockers Thin Lizzy are well known for huge international hits such as Whiskey in the Jar, Jailbreak and The Boys Are Back in Town.

Completing the line-up, Absolute Bowie will celebrate 50 years of David Bowie. The otherworldly Bowie kept releasing music right up until his passing in 2016. Some of Bowie’s most well-known tracks include Heroes, Let’s Dance and Life on Mars?
Icons Festival takes place on Saturday 27 July 2019 at Apps Court Farm, Walton-on-Thames.
